Consumer withdrawal rights are governed by: Romanian GEO no. 34/2014 on consumer rights (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU); Law no. 449/2003 on the sale of goods and associated guarantees.
Under art. 16(d) of GEO no. 34/2014, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly (perishable food products such as vegetables, fruit, and dairy). This exception does not cover non-conforming or damaged products.
If products received do not match the description, arrive damaged, contaminated, or expired at delivery, send a request to [email protected] within 24 hours of receipt including order number, description of the issue, and clear photographs. We will propose replacement, partial refund, or full refund as appropriate.
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of return acceptance, via the same payment method used at checkout. No additional charges apply for approved refunds.
iPiata is an intermediary marketplace. Product quality, conformity, and safety obligations remain entirely with the seller. iPiata facilitates communication, payment, and dispute resolution between buyers and sellers.
